As Director of Operations, his role is to provide business and operational leadership, direction and oversight to allow the Principal, teachers and school staff to focus on the many aspects of the children's educational experience. He also provides support in HR, marketing, facilities and property management, communications, risk management and the coordination of real estate, legal and leasing issues. He serves as the liaison between the school and the board of directors. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Cornell University. He has lived for extended periods in Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela and Angola and has travelled a great deal to France, England, Italy and parts of the Middle East. His eldest daughter, Madeline, is in first grade. She loves to draw and write in cursive. His other daughter, Alexandra, is in preschool. His wife, Beth, is a professional violinist.
