Enrolling Now

The Broomfield Academy Summer Enrichment program will begin on Monday, June 4, 2012 and will run through Friday, August 3, 2012. The summer program provides an exciting, safe and educational environment in a relaxed setting to promote learning. The program is held Monday – Friday, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with the exception of July 4, 2012. Before & after care is available from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Families can elect to attend from 1-5 days per week, for the entire summer or for just the weeks they desire. The Broomfield Academy Summer Enrichment program is open to all area children, regardless of which elementary school they attend in the fall and spring. Sibling discounts of 15% and 30% are offered to families with two and three children attending.

The summer program offers two main options: an academic prep program and a summer camp. The theme for the summer 2012 is "The Journey to Other Worlds."

The Broomfield Academy summer academic prep program includes a preschool & Jr. Kindergarten (for children ages 3-5), a Kindergarten Preparatory program (for children ages 4 & 5), an Elementary Preparatory program (for children who have just completed kindergarten or first grade), an Intermediate Preparatory program (for children who have completed second grade or above), and a summer enrichment camp program (for children ages 5-12), with a full offering of activities, learning and fun.

Students in the Summer Enrichment Camp will enjoy two and three-week sessions focused on fun and educational arts- and science-related topics. The sessions include Geology Science Camp, Sports Camp, Robotics / Tech Camp, Performing Arts & Music Camp. There will also be substantial opportunity to swim in Broomfield Academy's on-site indoor salt-water pool and to engage in other age-appropriate water play and games. There will also be daily time devoted to age-appropriate academic activities, arts and crafts, free time, swimming, sports and caring for the garden.

All students will also enjoy swimming and fun and educational field trips to places such as a Rockies and Rapids game, the Arvada Center, Heritage Square and the Carson Nature Center. The registration fee covers all field trips, swimming, transportation, snacks and a summer camp t-shirt.
