Liz Kaplan - Aquatics Director

Ms. Liz teaches swimming and water safety in Broomfield Academy's on-site enclosed swimming pool. With over 30 years teaching aquatics, her lessons focus on water safety and on building confident swimming skills for students at all levels. With her dedication and passion for the water, Ms. Liz has inspired her student swimmers to achieve their personal best, be it blowing bubbles under water, doing floats or developing and practicing the strong swimming skills needed to achieve gold medal wins!  

A natural educator, Liz assures that all swimmers have a happy and positive learning experience in and around the pool. Her enthusiasm for coaching has produced hundreds of confident swimmers and many of her students and teams have won regional titles. Her work with Team Rocky Mountain National Kidney Foundation has inspired many adult transplant recipients to win medals at the United States Transplant Games. Liz is the mother of three children, Adam, Trevor and Katie – all confident swimmers before their first birthday.
